RESSOURCES
ART AND DESIGN LIBRARY
The school’s library is a tool for research, inspiration, construction of critical thought and art processes, with a perspective of exchange and dialogue between each student, the staff and collection.
It offers collections focused on Modern Art, Contemporary Art and Sesign, putting forward art news, culture and thinking through specific documents (exhibition catalogues, magazines, books on artists, writings on art…), which report on aesthetics, Art History and Humanities.
A team of librarians along with the help of teachers, run the library and aide students in their documentary research. The library is equipped with adapted tools: computers, WIFI access, a photocopier and much seating.
This is a place of living culture at the heart of Marseille’s territory, which reports on and documents ongoing events, be they inside the school (exhibitions, forums, conferences, seminars, trips and workshop) or local, national and international news (exhibitions, big events, seminars, fairs…). It also offers exhibitions and meetings in partnership with Marseille’s cultural structures.
It is also a place of conservation of the school’s memory, offering conservation, indexing and consultation of student thesis, diploma reports and synthesis documents, as well as heritage archives.

This methodology reaches different fields:
Description of bibliographies and other supports for synthesis documents, diploma reports and DNSEP thesis.
The quality of research and pertinence of documentary sources for information related to the student’s concerns and moreover, the art scene.
