EQUIVALENCY
EQUIVALENCY ADMISSIONS COMMITTEE
This admission concerns students who wish to join the Beaux-Arts de Marseille in the middle of their studies and are already enrolled in another public art school under the framework of the French Culture and Communication Ministry. It also concerns students who have already done two years of visual arts studies either in another country, in an establishment recognized by the L. 3612 article of the educational code, or in a private institute.
Lastly, it also concerns students who have already studied two years in a curriculum not directly related to visual arts, but that includes an art program deemed sufficient.
Entrance in the middle of the program is subject to an interview with the Equivalency Admissions Board composed of teachers from the school appointed by the art director. The applicant presents his/her art portfolio and curriculum vitae. This committee meets every April. The exact date of the committee is accessible on the school’s website at the start of the year.
